Year 7 News

The boys were looking forward to this top of the group clash and the game certainly had quality and was closely contested throughout. An excellent first half from the boys took us into half time with a 1-0 lead as Adrian finished a good move to give us a narrow advantage. The second half North Kent came out with a real desire to get level and after good possession they finally broke us down with a corner headed in by a lad that had a considerable height advantage. We looked to respond but after a few half chances the opposition scored a well taken goal to go 2-1 up and a late goal as we pushed for equaliser left us without any points and a 3-1 defeat. Plenty of positives to take forward and we look forward to the remaining two fixtures and the challenge of finishing in top two group places. Training this Friday 5-6 at Hove Park 3G.
